G Residence is a new family home in Melbourne.  The client requested a concrete, minimal style aesthetic and this design required a considered response to provide privacy from a busy T-intersection whilst still allowing city views from the upper level. A south-facing entry from the street incorporates shelter from the elements and selected materials soften the concrete palette.

The warmth of timber, texture of natural stone and the arrival journey through the landscaped front yard work well to transform this block to a sought after address and positively contribute to the urban streetscape appeal.

Living and outdoor alfresco entertaining spaces enjoy a private, north-facing aspect with a strong connection to a beautifully landscaped rear garden oasis.
